Locked Desire explores the intimacy of wanting. Seen through a stark keyhole, George Washington’s fragmented gaze transforms currency into a symbol of access, power, and possibility. Money is presented not as an object, but as a threshold. It becomes the thing imagined on the other side of the door, tied to freedom, control, and the private life one is still reaching toward. The composition is restrained, but the tension is unmistakable.

Paper prints are shipped rolled in protective packaging. Canvas and framed prints arrive ready to hang, with hanging hardware included. A frame is only included when Black Frame is selected at checkout.
At 30×40″ or 45×60″, the composition holds a wall on its own. At 18×24″ or 24×32″, it takes its place within a gallery arrangement or a more intimate setting — a hallway, a reading corner, a considered pairing.

Produced on 310gsm archival cotton rag using giclée technology — the same archival process used by museums and galleries to reproduce exhibition-grade prints. Pigment inks are rated for over a century of fade resistance.

Production — Each piece is printed to order. Please allow 3–5 business days before your artwork ships.
Domestic shipping — Shipped from our U.S. fulfillment partners. Most orders arrive within 2–6 business days after production. Expedited shipping is not currently offered.
International shipping — Complimentary to most countries. Delivery typically takes 10–20 business days after production. Customs duties, taxes, and import fees are the responsibility of the recipient.
Returns — Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery, provided the artwork is unused and in its original, sellable condition. Return shipping is only covered when OrderGuard (our optional return protection, added at checkout for a small fee) is selected; without OrderGuard, the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. Sale and discount-code purchases are final sale. Please contact us before sending anything back so we can approve the return and share instructions.
